How to get from Narita Airport to the hotels
Narita Airport is about an hour out of Tokyo, and approximately one and a half (to two, depending on traffic) hours from the UNU Centre and the President Hotel, the Cerulean Tower Tokyu Hotel, the Shibuya Excel Hotel Tokyu and the Hotel Okura Tokyo Tokyu. We do not recommend that you take a taxi from the airport to your hotel, as this would be very expensive.

By Airport Limousine Bus
We recommend that you travel from the airport to the hotel by Airport Limousine bus as this is by far the easiest way of traveling, will take the same amount of time, and will cost roughly the same as the subway system. The Limousine Bus ticket counter is located almost directly in front of you as you come out of airport customs and into the main arrival hall. The ticket counter is marked clearly in English, and the staff there will speak a little, if not a lot, of English. As long as you remember the name of your hotel, you will have no problem. There is an Airport Limousine Bus that travels directly from Narita Airport to Cerulean Tower Tokyu Hotel and Shibuya Excel Hotel Tokyu in Shibuya and Hotel Okura Tokyo in Toranomon at least once every hour. The cost is approximately 3,000 YEN.

If there is no bus at the time of your arrival, you could also take a limousine bus to the Tokyo City Air Terminal (TCAT) and a taxi from TCAT to the Cerulean Tower Tokyu Hotel, Shibuya Excel Hotel Tokyu or Hotel Okura Tokyo. The cost of the limousine bus ticket from Narita to TCAT is 2,900 YEN; a taxi from TCAT to Hotel Excel will be around 3,500 - 4,000 YEN depending on traffic. Unfortunately, there is no Airport Limousine Bus to the President Hotel. We recommend that you take an Airport Limousine Bus up to the TCAT and a taxi to the Hotel.

By train/subway
It is also possible to travel to and from the airport by subway. While all signs and stations will be marked in English as well as Japanese, there is no direct route to the hotels and the subway system may be a bit daunting for those who have not visited Tokyo before. Also, there is little difference between the cost of the Airport Limousine Bus and the train/subway.

To reach President Hotel, Cerulean Tower Tokyu Hotel, Shibuya Excel Hotel Tokyu or Hotel Okura Tokyo by train, you should take the Narita Express to Tokyo Station and then take a subway train on the Marunouchi line to Akasakamitsuke station (only four stops) and switch to the Ginza line. The terminal station on the Ginza line for the President Hotel is Aoyama 1-chome (only one stop), Shibuya Station for the Cerulean Tower Tokyu Hotel and Shibuya Excel Hotel Tokyu (the last stop) and Toranomon Station for the Hotel Okura Tokyo (two stops). Shibuya Excel Hotel Tokyu is actually attached to the station.

Another alternative to reach Shibuya Station from Tokyo Station is to take the Japan Railways (JR) trains. The JR train bound for Shibuya Station is "Yamanote Line". Yamanote Line will take you directly to Shibuya Station.
