Professor Terusuke Terada
President, Foreign Press Center/Japan; former Ambassador of Japan to Mexico, Belize, and Republic of Korea
Ambassador Terusuke Terada, former Ambassador to the Republic of Korea, is now actively involved in supporting foreign media both in Japan and abroad as President of the Foreign Press Center, Japan.
In the course of his diplomatic career, he was appointed Executive Assistant to Prime Minister Takeshita, Director-General of Latin American and Caribbean Affairs Bureau, Press Secretary/Director-General for Press and Public Relations of the Ministry, and Ambassador to Mexico and Belize. Prior to his assignment to South Korea, he acted as Representative of the Government of Japan to the Executive Board of KEDO and to Japan-North Korea Normalization Talks. He is currently member of the Public Security Examination Commission, Government of Japan.
