Capacity-building is usually undertaken in two different manners: (1) projects, training courses and workshops organized jointly with collaborating institutions in various parts of the world, mostly in developing countries; and (2) Ph.D. internship and fellowship schemes conducted by UNU's training and research centres and programmes in their priority research fields.
